Bill was born in Victoria Harbour in 1930 to Lena and John Ball. Bill had many grandchildren and great children. Predeceased by his first wife Colleen (Reid) and survived by his second wife Esther Long and seven children Trudy Williams (Earl pre deceased), Cindy Brown, Glen (Theresa), Randy(Kristin), Peggy Hillis (Larry), Mike (Lori), Murray( Lisha) and two step sons Tony and David. He lived a victorious and courageous life battling Alzheimer’s for the last 20 years. Words of condolence may be left for the family at BALL, William (Bill ) – Passed away peacefully at Coleman Care Centre in Barrie Ontario on October 9 2022.
A celebration of life to be held at a later date. Donations maybe made to the Lung Association of Canada or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. The family wishes to thank everyone for their love and support during Alvin’s difficult journey.
TEAMSPIRIT 2017 MADD RI DRIVER
Alvin was a long-distance driver for Gibson Transport in Alliston. Alvin loved the great outdoors and enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, travelling and walking the trails in the Minesing area. Alvin will be fondly remembered by many friends, family, co-workers and neighbours in Minesing where he resided for 28 years. Loving uncle to Dennis John, Tiffany and Tyler. Will be missed by his brother Ken of Barrie and Grant and his wife Tammie of Springwater. Beloved son of the late Cecil and Eva Maynard. Peacefully after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis at RVH.
